I can't decide which hoops will suit a black SE - chrome or alloy.
Chrome looks good with black but I have an alloy tax disc holder, the gearknob's alloy (although part of it is shiny) the door handles and other bits of trim are alloy.
In fact, the wheels and fuel cap are alloy as well...

Dear Sir,
I wish to complain on the stronglyest possible terms about the previous entry in this file about hoops. As a share holder in the Big Berks Aluminium Mining and Polishing Company. I object to the use of Chrome It is an obscene and barbaric practice that deprives the endagered Khroma snail of Papua New Guinea of it home.
Yours faithfully,
Brigadier Sir Charles Arthur Strong, Mrs.
PS I will be passing the names of all chrome lovers to the WWF

Dear Sir Charles Arthur Strung
Thank you for your letter of Nov 09, 2002. After
careful consideration, We regret to inform you that
We are unable to accept your complaint of your
objection to the use of Chrome
This year we have been particularly fortunate in
receiving an unusually large number of comlaints
letters. With such a variety of unusual complaints it
is impossible for us to accept all complaints.
Despite your outstanding qualifications and
previous experience in complaining, we find your
complaint does not meet our needs at this time.
Therefore, we have decided to ignore this complaint.
We do however thankyou for your great interest
in complaining, and wish you all the best in your
future complaints endeavours.
Sincerely

and not of Papua New Guinea as you stated.

the reason i didnt vote is that both look equalli nice, although i prefer the standard black. For chrome anyone notice that it hard to see in dark shadow or night time coz due to it reflecting (or lack of) dark background making it "invisible" sort of thing, in this sense it make alloy one a bit better in the dark.
