Alternatively a front splitter would make the car appear lower. 70£ for full, 55£ for corner splitters. Careful when you park though!

Actually forget that last post; just lower it. Pugsport do a lowered and uprated suspension for a decent price.

Apparently the mod. brings the car back in line with the GTi suspension, as the CC was compromised to improve comfort.

They reckon you get improved handling at the expense of more noise from the roof joints. So there is a trade off.

Saying that you could put your roof down or turn the car stereo up.

Yes lowering the CC without uprating the Torsion x2 & Rear Antiroll bars is not good.. The ride as has been said is "loose" to say the least as standard..

My advice is to fit "quality" springs (ie Eibach) and fitting the "pugSport" rear beam kit, to give the car that sporty feeling it should have had from the start..

I have fitted quite a few now and everyone is over the moon with the improvement..

And to ammend the "more noise" statment.. As long as the roof seals are lubricated we have found in long term testing that there is no increase in rattles/sqeaks etc etc

Out of court settlement.

The 'more noise' statement was unqualified, and I retract it.
