Well I didn't expect anything more from Peugeot but it would have been nice.
I am
Went in to my local Pug dealer and asked for them to look at my car. Having had a "your wasting my time look" he built up enough effort to ask what reg my car was. He didn't ask what the problem was. He then asked if I bought it at that dealer which I hadn't. He seriously didn't want to know.
I then told him how it had cut out on me doing approx 60mph and that I wanted someone to look at it as I was worried it could be dangerous.
Eventually again he got himself off his chair and went and got the diary.
Once he came back he said that a week on Thursday is the earliest he could book my car in!
So I said,,,,, what if this problem happens again or is a dangerous problem to which he replied
"You have roadside assistance don't you?"
So I replied yes and he said well you will need to just call them!
I walked out!

Letter has been drafted to Pug HQ
(anyone got a name that will be useful for me to send my complaint too?) and also drafted a copy to the dealership.
Depending on their response is depending on where I go from there.
I am NOT impressed :x

Sorry to hear about your scary experiences (Update)
Try Customer Relations Director; Andy Pemberton. But i guess it will just be past onto one of the his goons. I'm sick of peugeot, why don't you cc it to the motoring press as well.
Good luck

Well I had a reply from the Managing Director of the Dealership which I was quite impressed with as he must have replied the same day he received my letter.
But.......... still nothing from Head Office!

Left the letter at home but it did say how he was concerned with how I felt I got treated and funnily enough if I took my car in they could look at it for me. They said the long wait (10 days) for an appointment was because the other local service departments had closed down??? (Reading and Slough)
So they had to deal with all the business.
Yeah was probably a standard letter but do feel quite pleased with a prompt reply. (Well from the dealership anyway)
Still waiting to hear back from the Head Office.

There may be a 10 day wait for serving. But you have a waruntee issue affecting the saftey of the car. It might be debatable whether the loss of power causing you to stop is dangerous but the loss of power assistance to steering or of brake servo will affect your abillity to control your car safley and the loss of lights at any time but especilly at night has obvious dangers.
Try the "I want a courtesee car untill you fix mine" approach and the "I not leaving the show room until I see the manager" the flutter you eye lids and say pretty please will you just have an ittle looky wooky at my car, just five minintes or you prescious time only.
Theres only one of you but you can still play "nice cop nasty cop"
If they pass the buck to Peugeot pointout that if it is a warruntee issue with your car Peugeot still won't be fixing it it will be the dealear and make the dealer call Peugeot while you wait.

Yeah I will see whether Pug HO reply.
Then I will make my mind up as to whether I try the dealer again or go elsewhere.
