Did anyone's dealer advise them of this free service?

Well, as long as you don't need more than a litre - from the Peugeot UK website ( After Sales > Service Intervals > FAQs):

"Peugeot recommend an intermediate visit between two services, which consists of a levels check and top-up (oil up to 1 litre, coolant and screen wash). This is carried out free of charge, provided that the maintenance of your vehicle has been carried out within the Peugeot network."

Nice to get something for nothing I suppose ;)

They won't change it, they'll just top it up...

after sunday i didn't need to worry about waiting to 20k miles. maybe i should have asked them to top it up after it was repaired - it would only have took about 5 litres :-)

cheaper to pay for it rather than tow the car there 5 times.
