Won't work. The 206 dials are backlit and the dials themselves provide the orange tint.

I know they are backlit but do you know what colour the led is behind the dials, I have a company who might be able to do colour stained dials for £40 which sounds reasonable to me!

I guess they're white bulbs - it'd be the cheapest option.

yeah they are white bulbs.
to change the colour of the dash display ur gonna need to get rid of the orange stai on the back of the dials and cover em in a blue one. unless u can make blue by mixing orange with another colour???

No - it's one of the 3 primary colours (red, green & blue).
