Just a very simple Q for all you ICE Bods...

Y does my bloomin radio insist on re programnming itself? I have tunned all my fave stations into it but when I flick through, its changed them to BBC Radio 2,3 etc etc ..

Ive put RDS on and off and it makes no difference? :x :x :x

maybe your power is out ? so the rad keeps resetting. or have you actually stored the stations .. if you just use the search function, to get what you want it will forget it when you turn ignition off.

i thought about the power but didnt think it would be an issue if it was the standard stereo.

Its the standard CD Head unit that is fitted to the SE (2002 mod).

I store the channels by manually selecting them then storing them into the radio... Then when I change to another stored radio station, it will change other stored one. If I should dare to search through stations, the radio will go totally loopy and store 3-4 of its own channels, wiping off my ones.....

New radio then chaps????

:?: :?:

hmm i'd normally agree with Steve bout the head unit .. but i wonder what the standard clarion jobby would be like coming out of decent speakers ? i know it won't be as good as mine or anyother non standard system, but i reckon you'd get quite some improvment (IMHO)
