Where are all the happy CC drivers??

Passed a lady on Saturday in a silver CC on the A642 between Aberford and Garforth. She was waiting to come onto the roundabout I was going round. I waved at her and she looked half asleep until I waved and her face lit up and she gave me a big wave back! Hopefully she will now be another convert to happy CC ownership!!

Some people in a silver pergeot 206 stopped in the road to talk to me as I parked my 206cc in the drive. Their faces lit up when they saw mine and told me that they had purchased their CC that very day and how was I getting on with mine. Just goes to show you don't even have to drive a CC to aknowledge other drivers (Perhaps its only when some come to collect their new CC's that they turn into little snubbish monsters). :razz:

I just think we are turning into an anti-social nation.

Lets reverse the trend and stop and speak to other CC owners. They may think we are mad, but in my experience most are happy to stop. They just felt a little awkward about doing it first.

Its like a virus, its spreads quickly once someone starts it.

Your right Rob!! I now see this as a divine mission, perhaps one that I was put on this earth for, going to wave to every cc owner from now on!

PS. If they fail to wave back, luckily I'll have gone by before they can recognise me.

On a more serious note though, I agree with you that it's up to us to turn the tide and become more friendly on the road.
