Quite nippy for a 1.6 though. I used to borrow my dad's friend's whenever they went away - great fun.

I'm with you on the SL, one of the best looking cars out there...but at a cost. The Daihatsu is quite a nice little thing - have you seen one in the flesh ? - like a mini SC/Beetle hybrid, also with you on the Micra - going to be gran-mama's sensible convertible (where the roof never goes down, 'cos it's always too cold or will spoil the bouffent). As I said above - depends what you're looking for - a reasonably price hard top convertible car with individuality, not much to choose from. I'd rather go for something a little quirky - as I did when I got the CC nearly 2 years ago. Oooh - throw another one in...the smart Roadster ? At the end of the day, follow your heart - take a CC out, if it grabs you as it has so many people on here - go for it, you forget about the bad press once you get the top down throw it around a bit.
