Thought some may find this amusing (in light of the recent Driven review posting....)
Insurance renewal time for me, quotes received from all round including Greenlight Insurance who seem to have an affiliation with the Peugeot GTI owners club and the Peugeot Sport club. They came out highest after a few days wait, reason for this :

'We must apologise for taking so long in replying to you. Unfortunately these vehicles are generally associated with female drivers, we have a limited market in this area and therefore are often un-competitive'.

Surprised the word hairdresser wasn't thrown in there for good measure !

another hilarious howler from the house of 206cc abuse...

A colleague of mine (to offer anonymity, for the purpose of this post I will call him Dick) noticed that I occasionally accessed this fine website, now Dick's a bit of a pranker (on this occasion, not cockney-rhyming slang) he decided to play around with our servers - so on attempting to access http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk it took me off to http://www.nickyclark.com !!

I was all set with an Email to Lyndon... until the penny dropped, retort suggestions welcome

To be honest I bought the car for its looks and style. To think that it is classed as woman car/hairdressers car does not bother me. I bought the car because I love it plus I got it on import for over 3 grand less (major plus). Also the car holds its value well and should be easy to flog on.

The biggest reason I bought the CC was because of the hard top. I would be too afraid to leave a soft top car around with me. The SLK was out of my range and hay pressto the ideal car the CC
Regards

Gareth

Morning all, if my Pug's associated with women and hairdressers only, might turn it to my advantage and ask Peugeot for a street cred discount on my next model, either that or claim the cheaper insurance and wear a wig when I'm driving.

Hi All,

if it's a womans car then how come only a small percentage in the owners section are female (no offence intented)

Cheers

Stuart, for retaliation, try pinning him down and quickly crimping his hair. If he's got any
