I've solved it Derek!

They haven't got enough sinclair ZX 81's to go round. They must have put proper computers in the 307's

that's it robbie, spot on

one thing i hate about the 307 is the central locking. if you press the lock button on the remote when the car is locked on the CC - the hazzard lights flash.

if you do it with the 307 then you hear a blast of the horn - keep getting a fright

derek

Derek, I think that's a good way of frightening monkeys to come near!!
Robbie, perhaps they are trying to upload new specs with ZX's microtapes as well!?!
Cheers,

I've got the same delay problem with the lights and horn. It seems that the delay is longest regarding the horn.
But once I was doing some research about the horn delay I found that after using the horn a couple of times the delay seemed to dissapear...
But I guess the IP adresses was cahced then

ARE YOU ALL STUPID OR WHAT

you have missed the real reason for the delay. Its simple Peugeot dont wat us to pip and flash at other CC drivers. They worry that if we do we might realise that our cars problem isnt an isolated incident - havent they heard of the web.

Oh yes they have because I made sure on my 2 visits that they were aware of this web address

Now I am really worried, I don't remember specifying the optional 16k RAM pack for the ZX81 that is powering my CC. If I try to flash the lights, hoot the horn and listen to the radio at the same time will I run out of memory?

PS - Why is the horn so weedy - Is it because I didn't specify a sound card for my car?

Yep, my horns pretty mute as well (is there any treatment available?), I would be embarassed to use it, suspect that if I did, other drivers will laugh (the car horn I mean!)
