I will be glad to get the new 2.O on Friday as the 'load Volvo' is doing less than 10MPG.

Ouch my wallet.

Ok this is getting worse now! I see two big stars! hehehe I'm like that baby in this thread!

I haven't had my insurance renewal yet but I'm sure hoping that its lower than before... I think I paid about £600... I just can't remember too well, I'll have to check my Insurance details... But seeing that the car is pretty my in the garage most of the time I'd hope it'll go down. By the way I'm with Admiral.. it was the cheapest!

Its strange though.. My CC always seems to look the dirtiest! even though its in the garage! given that I hadn't cleaned it since summer... so I took it for a special treat and took it to an All American Vallet Service.. cost me £10 for the inside and outside... I think its money well spent considering the amount of dirt! My g/f got some of the dirt on her Cargo's and even with a wash it didn't come off! Oopst!

I always wonder What you did for a living Julia! Now I know!    Can I have a Mc Chicken Sandwich and Fries to go please! **cheeky me**

Blimey £600 is good for your insurance. I got mine down to £860 this year which I was proud of!

I just had to clean some bird mess of my car in my lunch break. I didnt have time to do the usual valet so I have one door which is sparkling and the rest is dirty! £10 is very good for in and out though.

Hope you enjoyed your McChicken Sandwich and fries - remember............
HAVE A NICE DAY

If I go for straight fully comp - no protected NCB, legal cover etc, full £200 voluntary excess - I can get insured for just over £500 with Direct Line.

With protected NCB & legal cover it's around £650.

I'll find out for sure this evening when I'm at home coz I need to find out when it expires anyway...

I decided to go with admiral because I didn't want hassle if I ever had an accident...

I know £10 is darn cheap... but I think next time I'll get the car cleaned outside only coz I don't like the shiny crap they put on the plastic... I want my car to smell new! hehehe

Oh don't you just hate bird shit!!! and most of the time it happens just after you cleaned your car!!

Yep I can see that you are a total professional by the way you say "Have a nice day!"

Take Care,

going back to this topics title

AA cover is only 12 months with UK peugeots.

Renewal is £50 per year.

This is good value as it is like the Option 400 they offer to standard Punters for £120.

It includes onward travel, hotel or hire car (free) for 48 hours if they cant fix you at the side of the road. Its very useful I have had many chances to take advantage of it as dealers dont always have a loan car.

Always ring your dealer when you break down, see if they have a loan car and if they dont the AA guy will take you to the dealer as most things are warranty covered and they dont like to get involved. So you then qualify for the free hire car.

Do you have a telephone number for the AA Peugeot cover renewal? My cover has just run out and I haven't had a renewal notice.

Thanks.

I suggest paying fot the extra 2 years cover now instead of just the one.

With all the CC problems I suspect the AA might increase the cost for CC owners next year. ( well thats my feelings - no proof yet!)

Hi,

You don't have to go through your dealer if you don't want too..

You can ring Peugeot Direct on 0870 2412205 and ask to be put through to Peugeot Assistance for renewals!..

They quoted me £100 for 2 years! Great value for money for what you get!

my new CC came with 3 years AA.

Peugeot are being extra careful with me - lol

Sorry the rest of you still only get 1 year as standard.

I guess with all the trouble you had I think Peugeot had to give you 3 years AA!

Thank god that mines been pretty much free from mechanical breakdown inc roof/leaks!... for that reason I rather pay the £100 and settle for my great trouble free 206cc! **touch wood**

Make sure you renew your cover before it expires (ie within 1 year). My local dealer said I couldn't renew as it had expired.

Fortunately I went back the the original supplying dealer and they have done me a favour and back-dated it. [They owed me one after all the c**p I had to start with].

The price is definitely £100 for 2 years. The original dealer tried to charge me £120 before he realised that my original cover had expired.

Cheers,
