AMG tune the SLK........and so its only fair that you compare like with like a tuned SLK with a tuned S2000

when ERM tunes the S2000 it will be pushing out around 500 BHP and doin 0-60 in approx 3 secs

plus them looks over an SLK any day, i think that has just taken the title of my favourite car away from the lambo diablo convertible, looks wise anyways, cudnt say no to the lambo

nah wud only be able to use all of that on a racetrack of course

added to the fact that i'm fed up of Ferrari drivers around here that think they are invincible cuz they got a ferrari, so it'll teach em a lesson

Leaving Super Novas & Zondas aside, don't get me wrong, I like the s2000 very much. It has great looks and in an unmodified state its a great performance car and is far better value than the likes of the AMG SLK but its a bit basic inside for my own preference, maybe cos I'm getting older at 37.

My tastes in cars have changed over the years, I now prefer the more understated quality car that also packs a punch.

I tracked down last night a second hand AMG SLK 2002 model in my local Rivervale dealer, and at Â£37,000 I'm weakening. The only thought is trading my new SLK in for an AMG before the new model arrives next year may loose me a shed full of money.

325bhp standard
top speed at 170mph

all this from a car thats got 60 000 on the clock and hasn't been modified at all. (YET) .... coming soon spotted and killed postings.
