Bodywork problem

I have a strange bodywork problem that's appeared in the last couple of months on the driver's door about an inch or so above the rubbing strip: the paintwork is raised in 2 places, like a parking dint, but it's pushed out rather than in. Took it to my dealer a few days ago for its 6 months service, they're saying that they've never seen that before and because it's not in the "guidelines" it's not covered by the warranty After speaking to the service manager this afternoon, he said he'll have a word with customer services tomorrow to try to sort it out.

I was wondering if any of you had heard of this problem before, and, as I'm going to make a fuss until they fix it under warranty, if you had any advice on the best way of getting there! Although my 206 is not a cc (my budget didn't quite stretch to one) I thought that since unfortunately lots of you had to kick and scream to get your problems sorted, this was probably the best place to post.
