For those of you that dont know, someone on this forum is altering messages, I have posted many over the last few weeks, but nearly all have been altered in some way. So be careful and dont always believe what you read.

Its strange how mine have been altered, now why would I write that I was going to the toilet, or other strange and bizare comments.

Quite sure, my password was very easy so I can only assume our culprit has worked it out. Sad that it comes to this, as its quite a good forum.

I mean that sentences have been added and removed, words have been changed to cause offence to others!

NS, if indeed there is a person changing messages, then it is indeed sad, as we are all supposed to be adults on this Forum. I'm sure Lyndon will look into it for you.

If you have any comments to make of a personal nature, then perhaps you can PM me instead of using the Forum,

thanks, Robbie.

Somebody is probably changing messages seeing as it's an internet forum full of unknown people. Some people like causing trouble like that...
From looking at NS's posts I would have to agree that that's not the sort of thing someone would post. However from what NS has said he picked a password that was very easy to guess (maybe something to do with a CC).

Just change your password and forget about it, I very much doubt who did it will tell u any way.

phpBB is not secure and there are ways of changing messages that aren't yours, so be aware.

I suppose there are ways and means of getting into most secure areas on the web though I would have no idea.

Lets not get paranoid about this, after all, there seems little evidence of a problem on this site except from what one member has said. And even then, it appears that the reason could have been because that member failed to ensure they held a reasonably secure password, and if so, this is hardly the fault of the Forum.

As other members have already said, it may be just a simple solution of that one member changing his password to make it secure.

Those of you who used the "old" forum will doubtless remember the people that used to delight on winding people up, some people just get a kick out of making life difficult for others - and some of them don't even work for Peugeot ;)

I think we all need to realise that when communicating on a forum or by e-mail the recipient of a message won't always interpret the message as you intended. This is particularly true with humour and often results in people getting the wrong end of the stick.
