Are we talking GT bumpers or GTi bumpers? I thought the GT ones are the ones that stick out at the front and look weird - the GTi one is the one with the bigger grill.

Help, confused!
as the topic said it's the GT bumper :) the one that you said looks weird, which i said it's looks weird on the first place but actually looks pretty good ;)
Ah OK thought so, the one in the pic posted above just looks like a GTi bumper, that's all!

The picture above also doesn't have the black bits painted so I assume this is pre GT bumper

OK good news is that the bit I was on about being broken doesnt look to be broken.

But that is definetly too low. There should be a slight gap the size of the crease that follows the actual bumper. That doesnt make sense. Ok The GT bumper is one complete mold. Under spoiler and bumper. There is an imaginary shut line and this should be the size of your gap.

Looks to me like they have not tightened it right up or as I originally said- they may not have secured it in the centre.

If you pay for flights Ill fit it properly for you. :D

So the only thing that they have to do is just tighten up the bumper? I'm going to take it back to the dealer to fit the Wheel Guards because the The GT bumper are different from the Original bumper as it's bigger as well. Therefore i might ask them to fit it properly or i'm gonna kick their a**

Good luck.

Why not print off the mails you have sent/ recieved. That way the garage fitting your bumper will see you will not be fobbed off by some stupid excuse. Sorry thats what garages do in my part of the world.

What i mean the wheel guard is like underneath the engine where it cover between the engine and the wheels. I'm not sure how to explain but it's part of the GT bumper. Which they don't have a stock but have the Bumper on stock from Brisbane.

If you originally had the gti bumper then the arch undergaurds are the same. I would ask to see the old pair and new pair and see if there is any difference.

So anyone with the GT bumper did they ordered it before get the car or fitted when the bought the car?

I fitted my bumper about a year after purchase, but before that I had taken the bumper off to add an SP grille. If you’re getting it done at a dealership. Then tell them to pay to have it done at a body shop.

Not being funny, but I am not a professional and although I found it awkward to remove the bumper it is not that difficult. If they can't get the bumper right I wouldn’t go there for anything major.

Try and find out exactly why they cannot fit it. They can email me with any questions.

Ok this is what they have told me why it can't fit properly. First the metal or plastic that hold the bumper upward is a flexiable (under the GT bumper). Also the Bumper is heavier than the normal one as well so it's quiet make sense. But i find it very annoyed when i saw the pic from all the people who fitted their GT bumper and look nice but mine looks like a broken Jaw bumper that hanging down.
But did you had it like that as well when they first fitted on your CC?
