The plug (screw) that you undo usually at the bottom of the engine to release the used engine oil.

i believe it's under the sump - hope that doesn't sound sarcastic :)

i haven't seen it for myself but about 4 months ago in a minor accident i burst the sump and my mate loosened the sump plug to let the remaining oil drain out - it appeared to be right under it.

hope this helps.

Hi all

I've taken a few photos of the sump. Want to have a look to see which one is the sump plug as my car has now done 3,000+ kms and I want to change the engine oil as there might be particles from the new engine.

It looks like the plug on the side of the sump, but that's a strange place for the plug as it might be difficult to fully empty out all the old oil. Let me know what you guys think?

From the right rear - closeup. The green plug looks like the engine oil level sensor

From the left front - this looks like the sump plug!

Hi Omak,

I can tell you where's the sump plug is after this weekend  ......... was suppose to do an oil change last weekend, but ran out of time and also i need to buy the filter from Peugeot first.

I hate the oil filter that Peugeot use on the 206 ....... they are the messy one .......... they are the so called 'insert one' ........ or another word 'elements'.

So, before you unscrew the filter, remember to wear some extra old clothing and gloves and remember to put some old newspapers on the floor (otherwise you will have a big oil mark on the garage floor) .........

Any chance of you or someone take a few photos of the whole process? Would you need any special tools to release the oil filter?
