I agree, the new SLK (if you click on the silver coloured slk link of my previous post) is an absolute blinder and way better than the current model, but then you would expect it with a 5% price increase and given the current model is now some 6 years old.
I loved my CC and now love my current SLK to bits, driving every minute in it is a sheer joy untill I can get my hands on the new model next year, OMG I can't wait
Robbie.

Can't blame you! I must admit that mercedes builds one of the most flawless cars. And i'm not talking about design. That choice is in the eye of the beholder. But mechanical and technical they are way ahead many other cars. I saw the most expensive convertible demonstrated at the auto-fair in Amsterdam last month. I believe the SL600? That one was really impeccable!
But for now i'm happy with the good 'ol CC!

Yes, I got to see a 500 SL at the local dealer, truly a lovely car and the new CLK convertable is good too, my girlfriend has the new C -sports coupe and that is such a great car to drive, you have to hand it to the Germans, but I have to say the CC will always have a place in my heart as the only cheeky good looking moderately priced tin top convertable on the market today.
