Has anyone actually rejected their CC yet and if so how did they get on ?
I rejected mine yesterday after it's fourth visit to the garage - they are now trying again to fix the problems, but this really will be their last chance.
How does it work out if the car was bought through Passport - am I right in thinking that the dealer and Peugeot Finance are jointly liable ?

I need to find out the legality of rejection as well.
This is the first fault I've had, but as I said, the car was only 3 days old..........I think I am entitled to reject a £15,000 faulty item after just 3 days.
With regards to Passport, The fact is you have a contract with the dealer to supply a car in working order. It shouldn't matter about finance.

david - to answer the question, the owner of the car is the finance company and they are jointly liable to you with the dealer.

Morning David & Cowdie, the rejection of CC's have been discussed in areas of the Forum in great length.
If you have bought your car through finance, it would seem that legally, your contract and liability rests with that finance company (including any rejection) and the finance company also has contract liability with whatever dealer/company sold the car.
Rob (who is rejecting his two cc's) has asked members rejecting/thinking of rejecting their cc's, to PM him so that members can act as one voice in this matter.
Derek has also successfully rejected his CC.
Hope this helps,
Robbie.
