There is a French company (can not recall the name) that makes the roof. Until recently, because i think that from now on Peugeot chose another company for the make of the roof, the same one that makes the SLK!
Any comments please ?

I am probably wrong, but I thought the roof was already made by the people who do the SLK roof!

Hi everyone, hopefully i can clear up any confusion.

What it was is that the man who designed the SLK roof, designed the roof on the CC. The actual building of it is done by some french company I think.

Apparently Peugeot have had enough with this company and rumour has it that Peugeot will use porsche to manufacture the roof for the 307 CC. I cannot confirm the last comment, but that is what i have heard.

Lets face it - NASA could design and manufacture the roof, but as long as Peugeot are fitting it onto the car they are bound to cock it up! ;)

Not sure I'd want NASA doing the roof either. They lost their last two spacecraft to Mars due to simple stuff ups (i think it was a metric conversion issue).

Fisher Price? Now there's an idea... ;)
