It's like driving a rally car then? But then with two drivers:
OK, hard brake 0,5m! Speedbumbs 0,1m...

Good!

The other way is electro-magnetic brakes. No friction so no wearing of pads/disks etc. All that happens is you put a variable amount of electricity into two electromagnets around the wheel. The more electricity you provide, the more the car will slow down. And best of all, totally squeakless!!

I also reckon there may be a way of doing some kind of energy conservation. Basically you treat each wheel like a generator. The more load you put no the gebnerator, the harder it is to turn the wheel. If you figure out how to put a variable charge into a battery you can then finish a journey with smoe full bateries you can then use to err... power your house... or send back to an oil refinery and get you cheaper petrol...

God, what goes on in my mind?!
