someone from work told me they were selling them at makro edinburgh. it's unlikely to be a uk model at that price, probably an import but with the extra's the price seems pretty good.
just so you know, the uk model would cost the following:
car £14695
metallic £275
sports pack £100
leather £700
alloys £400 approx.
hope this helps.
derek
p.s. with an import you will either get a 1 or 2 yr warranty, uk dealer cars are 3 years but it doesn't cost much to extend it normally.

trade sales and motor point aren't the most reliable for providing accurate info on availability from what i believe - sometimes they get it right but it's just your luck.
i might be wrong but with one of them or maybe both you are normally the 2nd owner as they normally pre register cars in their own name.
jam jar - waiting list, i expect makro have the cars in stock as they had with the jaguars they sold recently.

Get a price from Motorpoint then go to Trade Sales - they price match and they've got them on the forecourt (I work around the corner). Any colour you like - as long as it's silver (okay, I'm assuming that bit 'cos it was a silver one I saw yesterday).

It was also mostly Silver ones they had there when I bought mine in January (which incidentally was also Silver). They had a couple of blues back then and surprisingly they had a 1.6 in the Diablo red, which isn't available in this country. I would have bought it to be different if it had been the SE.

Bought mine from Trade Sales (import) was 14k dead, but was 2 litre, rest of the spec the same except not leather seats. Hard to say about exact pricing, I looked over a period of weeks and they had same spec cars at different prices. Some differed by £900. Depends I suppose on what deal they get abroad and fluctuations in the Euro rate.
One important point, with Trade Sales they only guarantee one key. They say that the other may or may not turn up at time of collection or up to 4 weeks later. Make sure if you buy from them, you get them to annotate that the other key will follow and also that they will supply you with the Code Card which you need for reprogramming keys in the future. Mine was not present at collection but did turn up two weeks later. Also thoroughly check the condition, while I was picking up mine another guy was getting his and it had a nice long scratch by the petrol filler cap. Don't know what the outcome was though. Incidentally I do recommend them.

Thank's for everyones replies.
I decided not to order one from Makro's. It would have been a rush decision and I think I need to look into it a bit more. I really want one but going through this forum the problems are kinda putting me off the idea for a little while!
I also would want more choice of colour etc which I wouldn't get with them.
Thanks again,
Julie
