Just got in. Sorry I had to miss out on the pub afterwards but my other half had a headache and sinus pain and wanted to go home. We enjoyed ourselves though (despite coming last) and my missus counted the exact number of times I spun off on the last few laps in the rain. Hope to email Lyndon with the photos once I download them.

She was OK about it she didn't want to do karting as she felt unwell once she got the helmet and race suit on as she is allergic to the heat but she couldn't get into the kart in the first place as when it came to qualifying her headache was really bad. At least she stayed dry. Also she said that once the rain fell, she wouldn't have been able to control the thing.

Nice to see everyone again yesterday! And thanks to Wheel Repair Its friend for keeping me company whilst you lot all raced (and slid) around the track. Must say it was much more fun to watch when it was raining

It took me 4 and a half hours to get to work today from Essex (Ooops!!) so was an hour late! Not helped by the fact that I had left the car window open all night (and it poured down with rain in Essex) so had a soaking wet seat to sit on all the way here!! :(

And yes Nick did have a rather impressive 5.35min lap!! That was commendable I think!! :?
