Well I am not gonna be out of the CC arena for ever. I have just purchased the web address

http://www.peugeot307cc.co.uk

There is no page there yet but there will be. Lets hope they sort my problems out in the next 2 days or I will just have to put all of the documents on the new site and my DETAILED diary of events so far.

I WILL NAME AND SHAME.

Bet Peugeot thought they were gonna get rid of me - . Lets hope the 307CC is built better.

Hi Rob
what makes you think that the 307cc will be any better technically than the 206cc? I have driven a 307 and thought it a bit like driving a bus, big and cumbersome - also it is just as black and plasticy as some people think the 206 is. The one I drove had all sorts of rattles and bits falling off (yes it was a brand new one - belonged to the guy at the dealer who sold me my 206cc). I think it kind of defeats the object of having a small but perfectly formed coupe/ cabriolet. After all a soft top (in my eyes) should be a small sporty car like the 206. A 307 will be more like an Astra. Just a thought
Liz

yes but as the roof is going to be made by Porsche I may get a dry one

despite all my negative comments, I do love the 206CC , just cant stand the hassle with my bad ones.

have to agree with you liz, sorry rob i went to see a 307 with a view in the future to upgrade to a 307cc when they come out but i simply could not live with the dashboard alone in the 307 god its ugleeeee ! the extra space would be nice though, but having seen the picks of the 307cc i dont think it is as handsome as the 206cc.

Hey Rob, you just do what you want to do! And to have a roof built by Porsche - how cool is that! At least you'd be half way to your Boxter - from the top nearly down to the door handles  Good on ya - Pauline

Can I remove the Peugeot badges and just stick a Porsche one to the roof (or will the extra weight break it  )

Is this funny Rob?? well its probably caused by my poor english but I dont see the humor in it. People, in this case Zag, have all the right to say what they mean without your (funny?)comments. Again, probably because my poor english, I think you have been after Zag since he made his remarks about the negative trend in this forum. I dont want to start a big discussion about it and Im sure that Zag can speak for himself (and maybe he se the humor in it and its nothing to be said??) and I'm sorry if I have missunderstood this. I just want the forum to be the best!!

By the way, I dont like the look of the 307cc and I would probably bought another car if I was going to by a biger cab.

bergen, it was only meant in fun. I am not having a go at anyone on here. We are all entitled to our opinions. Sag was correct about positive comments and made me realise I need to be more light hearted. Hence my poor attempt at a bit of fun/banter.

SORRY EVERYONE

I'm pretty sure that the "lol" at the end of the post was a pretty good indication of the tone of the post ;)

The 406 coupe is a much more attractive car than the 307. Any reason why they don't do a CC version of that?!

A 307CC?? where can I find more details? I've just bought a 307 (Rapier Hdi) and I love it!! It drives like a dream, and definitely stands out in a crowd! (perhaps that's cos its Aegean Blue as well!) - I've been hankering after a 206CC to complement it, and to play around with at weekends -but maybe I could go for the 307CC instead - when's it available here? Not sure other half will be too happy about us being a THREE car couple!! But hey!!
If I'm not here I'm in Symi.....where the sun is always shining.....

Rachel, yes, I for one would be interested to hear of a cc version of the stylish 406 coupe (don't know much about the logistics of providing a folding roof on a larger car though).

I think this would definitely open up a new market - Peugeot take note.
