Did anyone else read that cheese is addictive? Apparently it contains small traces of Morphine.

I just want to know how much cheese you would need to eat to get a Morphine fix. Would that be 3 or 4 whole cheeses? Could anyone actually eat that much cheese?

There must be easier ways!!

did you know that the humble tomato is derived from the tobacco planT? Apparently, you should avoid eating tomatoes if you're trying to give up smoking...

Does this make a cheese and tomato sandwich a dangerous combination? Tobaco and Morphine between two slices of bread...:ill:

Did you know that there's come mould (ergot??? it's what LSD is based on, I think) that contaminated Rye and if you eat it, it's a natural halucigen... that's what they're blaming the witch hunt frenzy on in the middle ages. No, not my middle ages! That's not until next year

So watch out if you eat a cheese and tomato on Rye bread sandwich!!!!

I'm sure Duncan will be along shortly and put us all right, and we will have to stand corrected and bow down to his superior intellect

Actually, is it just me, or does Duncan remind anyone else of Jon Tickle from Big Brother?

You know where you can stick "superior intellect"

...as for Jon Tickle. I have to admit ignorance on that one, have just painted the bathroom ceiling and so I have something more interseting to do than watch big brother.

Morhine in cheese never herd of it......... so i asked my best friend Google..He's never heard of it neither. Think it unlikeley. Morpine is derived from the opium poppy and I dont think is likely to be produded by the cow or processing milk. Morphine is an powerful pain killer unlikely to be given to a cow. If the cow was that ill it would be bye bye time.

It could be that eating cheese induce your body to produce Endorphins so called natural Morphine.

Best eat Chocolate for a natural high contains caffeine and theobromide.... but don't feed it to you dog and little as 100g of chocolate will kill a dog

Tomato and Tobbaco are are also related aso are aubergines potatoes peppers physalis (funny orange fruit) all member of Solanacea familly. All the tend to be high in alkoloids (so google tells me) which is poisonous especially Belladonna (deadly nightshade) and Mandrake. Potatoes can also kill if youeat lots of the green bits.

So......... basically eating smoking making sarky comments about this post are all dangerous activies which may kill you
