Sounds like a good plan - tho' still none the wiser about the name of the pub!! - if I bring the baldie guy along, he can help with directions as he works in Swindon sometimes!! can't promise we'll definitely be there cos we have got to be up in East Anglia during the day on Friday, but Swindon's sort of on the way home to Salisbury isn't it?(especially if I'm driving!)

Maybe its a ruddy good job I have lost my passport and can't now go to Spain for this weekend!! - I might get the chance to meet you lot!
