Having Owned both cars.. The CC is a tad slower in standard guise.. helps by fitting a performance panel filter..
The biggest difference is the CC's majorly Soggy rear Suspension...
Replacing the Torsion & rear Antiroll bars helps a lot.. Also lowering it using eibach springs it almost a must for serious handling..
The CC sits 20mm higher than the GTi anyway, so any reduction in Ride height helps
