Well it looks like it's time to be Mr Sensible and buy a Diesel! I've had the car for 6 months and loved every minute of it. However, I can't live like a student forever and need to get into the real world of mortgages, houses and debt-free living, therefore sadly my beloved CC has got to go :(

2 litre GTi engine
Aegean Blue
Full black leather
SP front grill
Fully loaded as standard (climate control, air con, sports pack, auto wipers/lights etc)
Colour coded front/back bumpers and side strips
Colour coded Ecosse bonnet vents
(All colour coding done shortly after purchasing by peugeot main dealer - I have receipts for proof)
Full UK model bought at MSF Peugeot in Leeds - this is not an import!
2.5 years warranty left
6 months tax left
11000 miles
Over £17000 full price

No - tell us all!

Have you given the new owners the internet address and informed them of the forum rules (the only 3 forum rules being to abuse Erm, be scared of Julia and attempt to laugh at CB's jokes!!! ;) )

OK deal is done so I can explain it now!

Basically I advertised the CC in autotrader on Thursday last week. The advert went live at 11am and I was asking 13500 for it. I was expecting very little interest for that price but was just curious to see what happened.

To my surprise I got a call an hour after the advert went live from a company called Optima. They are contracted by insurance companies to find replacement cars for write-offs. Basically someone has written off a CC SE with roughly the same spec as mine (with regards to mileage, age etc). Optima were asked to find a suitable replacement and hey presto they found mine!

A couple of guys came round at 4pm that afternoon to look over my car and seemed happy. They offered 12500 but I talked them up to 13000 on the proviso that i removed all my audio stuff, fitted the standard equipment and left no holes. I did all this and someone came round with a bankers draft and a lorry to take my CC away this afternoon.

I'm quite pleased at the price - I was thinking I'd get 12000-12500 for it, but seemed to have come up trumps!
