During drunken discussions with un-named other p** heads on the forum I have had the idea of taking over a travel inn somewhere & going for a proper drink (aimee & Paul apparently suggested this once) Would anyone be up for it? if so where?

Greenday suggests oxford but i dont know where that is (how far from my house?)

Other locations are open to suggestion (especially Dover coz i am too tight to pay for a hotel if i dont have to! lol)

where is the oz visitor staying? could we make it the same weekend/hotel?

Oxford would be quite a way for you but central to most other people, but hey i'm sure it'll be worth the trip

I certainly wouldn't recommend Oxford...I live close and its shite. I would choose Swindon personally, and then we can all crash round Pauls!!

He's got "wipe-clean" floors in his house too!!

I've never been to Oxford drinking i was just thinking location wise it was quite good, but i'll go most places so it don't bother me where we end up

Err.. no it's not it's West of the M25 (assuming you're not talking about the one up in Birmingham!) OK you could get technical and say it's North of the Southern bit of the M25, but you know what I mean

Yeah, at least the midlands would be a good start - could then tempt the northerners (or us midlanders who just happen to live up north

) out for drinkies.

Leeds is a fantastic place to go out drinking so I would definately recommend that, but I know it's quite a trek for you soft southerners who get scared seeing the sign for Luton
