Mornin'

Regular readers of the forum will doubtless testify to my being a calm and level headed individual but this patronising "hey folks, lets be positive and pretend there's nothing wrong" cr@p is really starting to p!$$ me off

That people are that concerned about the residual value of their cars that they'll never make a disparaging remark, however strongly waranted, really makes me wonder why they'd "invest" in a new car in the first place - surely a used car makes much more sense financially.

I'm assuming (I'm sure you'll correct me if I'm wrong) that most people on here bought their cc for reasons including: a) it's very nice to look at, b) it's great fun to drive and c) it goes a bit.

Those of us with finance agreements can't help but be aware of the future value of the car but, as maximising the driving experience and fun element is of greater importance, we will do whatever is required (including haranguing dealers, hassling Peugeot and yes generally moaning) to ensure whatever problems we encounter are resolved quickly and completely.

Surely the long term success of the cc is dependant on Peugeot getting it right now while the model is still relatively new. They're obviously aware they have problems with the cc, but without feedback from the likes of us or conducting their own research (yeah right, that's going to happen isn't it) they'll never get the true picture.

OK, I promise I've almost finished but there's one last thing I really have to mention; telling people to "only post positive comments" can be regarded as censorship and I don't feel that's appropriate on an open forum such as this.

This post isn't meant as a personal attack on any other forum member but is merely my own point of view, any assumptions I've made as to the views of others are precisely that.

End Rant.

P.S. Robbie, you have a point about the time travel thing but it's a bit early in the morning for me to think of a counter argument ;)

OOPS,

Sorry, it took me that long to write the last post 3 more appeard between the time I started writing and submitted it.

I still stand by my point though so I'd rather not delete it if that's OK.

Cheers,
Justin.

Good news and bad news folks,

The good news is I got the time machine working - I've been living in the year 2004 and driving a 307cc for 6 months now and IT DOESN'T LEAK.

The bad news is for some reason it's only available in yellow ;)

P.S. The other two Lord of the Rings movies were great but Star Wars 3 really sucked!

You have my full support and voicing opinion is the only way forward (other than maybe a flux cap) to getting things changed.

Lets not allow CC Mugabes' to oppress what is only the truth.

Love my CC dearly but yes, it has it's problems and my dealer is therefore, having problems with me

Just a quick Q. On your flux travels can you recall if the Gunners won the double this season.
I might have to pop down the bookies and up the bet I have ;)

Sag,

Although I've had a few cc related problems (just found a couple more actually ) I love my cc to a degree that probably isn't healthy and I honestly wouldn't change it for any other car.

Your opinion is obviously as important as anybody else's - the fact that so many people have taken the time to post replies to your comments shows that you're making a welcome and important contribution to the forum. I'm genuinely sorry if you feel differently but it'd be really dull if we always agreed on everything - except for Platinum Silver being the best colour which we all know is true ;)

SeeJay,
The bet's looking good but I wouldn't bother putting anything on Gareth Gates for Christmas No.1 ;)

Ni'cc'k,
Sorry, I forgot to check tomorrow's paper for the Champions League results, I'll remind myself to do it yesterday ;)

The whole point of a forum is to express your opinions and get useful info which this forum does very well. And Rob is right we can all do this without the abuse. We'll all have our opinions on the car, good or bad, but i think a lot of you guys (and gals) have an extremely unhealthy infatuation with it!!!

Well thats my opinion anyway!!!!

Burge, speaking about passion I'd take my cc to bed with me if I could (but don't tell my girlfriend)

Col, infatuation - don't know what your talking about -

Robbie.

PS. At least no-one can say this Forum isn't entertaining (sorry if i've gone and offended anyone, anywhere at anytime).

Oh, and no need for a time machine, I know the gooners will go and do the double.

Seejay, I'd get that money on pronto. We're going up to Old Trafford this weekend for the FA semi final, up the gooners!

Robbie.
