Hello all,

As some of you may recall I was made redundant earlier this year, but I now have a new job....unfortunately due the IT industry being the way it is, I took a pay cut ...and I lost a car allowance....which was worth quite a bit of dosh!

Unfortunately I have now decided to sell my Pug 206cc... :( so in a few weeks - hopefully not many weeks, I will have a windstop for sale....so if anybody here would like one for £170 inc delivery, please give me a shout! (I've had it for about a month - ask Rob!)

My CC will be going on the AutoTrader website and in the mag next week for £14,500 - although I doubt I'll get that for it....so if anyone would also like to make offers on the car as well, please get in touch!

Peugeot 206cc 2.0SE / 2.0 16v / Petrol – 5 Speed manual

Colour: Black
Trim Level: Salsa Red/Astrakan Black Leather
10k Miles

Plus the usual stuff!

Sara,

This day has been creeping up on me for the last few months, so I've had time to prepare for it....

2003 has not been a good year - made redundant in Jan and then my mum died in March....

BTW - I'm probably getting a new(ish) Vauxhall Astra - any horror stories to be wary of there?

Sorry to hear about 2003 so far.. It will get better..

As for the Astra.. If it has an Ecotek engine fitted and is has 40K miles or more then it must have a new Cambelt/tensioner/Pulleys..
These engines have a tendancy of snapping belts and Pulleys collapsing!!.. Taking out lots of valves &/or a complete head replacement...
Vauxhall origionally stated 80K miles or 8 years.. It is now 40K or 5 years... for belt replacement.. But the pulleys and tensioner must also be replaced!
For as long as but one hundred of us remain alive, we will never on any
condition submit to the domination of the English.
It is not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we fight, but for freedom
alone, which no good man gives up except with his life. Arbroath 1320
