Release for unlocking Boot

Does anyone know of a device for unlocking the boot with a lever from inside like in other cars? Having to take the key out of the ignition every time is getting annoying. I've seen a similar aftermarket jobbie for an MGF

I agree that it is annoying having to take the key out to unlock the boot but surely it's much a safer when you leave your car parked with the roof down. Having an internal release system from within the car will allow people to open the boot.

The obvious option is for it only to work when the engine is running, or linked to the immobiliser or something...

Jeasus !!! What are u talking about ?
There is not a single cabrio in the whole
universe in which you can unlock the boot from inside. The reasons are more than obvious.. Even if i was 1000 years old i wouldn't be so BORED!!! Spare me folks!

please note that there are different solutions to 2001 and 2002 models.
