Does anyone know of a device for unlocking the boot with a lever from inside like in other cars? Having to take the key out of the ignition every time is getting annoying. I've seen a similar aftermarket jobbie for an MGF
thanks

The obvious option is for it only to work when the engine is running, or linked to the immobiliser or something...

hi all
the german counterpart to this web site has a great do-it-yourself-section
to read more about your problem click http://www.ccfreunde.de/bastelecke_kofferraum.htm
please note that there are different solutions to 2001 and 2002 models.
if anyone tries this, please post photos and how to do as my german is not perfect...
