How do you people with lowered CC's manage when you have to go over speed bumps? Do you ever think you might ground the car?

** puts serious head back on **

if it's only lowered and not with the front splitter like mine then in general you shouldn't be too bad.

although there is a sports centre that i use (occasionally) that has speed bumps that are quite old - quite rounded and made of tar. recently when i went over these for 1st time after car was lowered the car scraped on everyone

i've learned from that - don't go back in :D

with the splitter at the front it's far worse and you need to be very careful at every speed bump you have never been over before. i found two near where my mum & dad live that were too high and they cracked the splitter then after i smashed against a kerb at mcdonalds (my own fault, was meant to go straight to work after a meeting but made a detour :D )

after that i got the spoiler etc.. fitted and some respray work at ecosse so i got the splitter replaced. i now know what speed bumps not to go over now :?

in general with modern speed bumps you shouldn't have a problem going over them with the car lowered unless they are very high but my car is so low at the front with the splitter that you clench ur teeth and cross your fingers when going over any new ones
