UK v Import

Just ordered my new cc from Micronetshowroom.com but am curious about two things:
1. Has anyone bought a car from them before and;
2. Is it true that the warranty on an import isnt worth the paper its written on?

I am panicking because i dont want the roof getting stuck or something on the first day and i have to fork out to get it fixed. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

As far as I know the warranty is still valid in the UK as long as it is bought from a country within the EU.

The only difference is the length of the warranty... I don't think the European cars have the same three year standard warranty.

Benno, haven't heard anyone talk about Micronetshowroom on here before, but re the warranty, click the search link and search warranty and you'll find there's a lot of info on here about it.

The warranty is the same as if you bought it from the UK. Only difference is that the import is usually 2 years where the UK one is 3 years. You can pay normally around Â£300-400 to get the extra 1 year.
