Okay, so I go to my friends all day BBQ yesterday, in typical style I was late but drinking commenced at about 3:30 which for me is really early. I live about 20 miles away from where I work which is great as I don't have to contend with seeing any of the kids around here.
Okay imagine all of the things you have ever done or seen anyone do at a BBQ. Well that was us lot last night, by about 10 I'd drank the best part of a bottle of Bacardi, had 2 hours sleep the night before and started drinking on a empty stomach. Although I wasn't 'fall over' drunk I was drunk! I pole danced around the washing post, smoked loads and swore loads.
There were a few kids here and there, friends family etc but one girl wearing facepaint kept staring at me. Thought nothing of it until her dad came over later on and said "So you're Miss Nash then are you?"
It only turns out that under all that face paint is one of the kids who was going to be in my class next year. How embarassed was I trying to hold a conversation with him without sounding too pissed?!!
As if it wasn't bad enough she finally came over to say goodbye to me later in the night and I had to quickly give my fag to my friend and try and string a sentence together - The whole bottle of Bacardi in ruins by this point!
I am cringing at the rumour "Kiya saw Miss Nash in the holiday, she was drunk and she smokes" which will go around next week!

That story rivals a mate of mine - she was clubbing and this bloke chatted her up, at the time she had a boyfriend so she stayed clear (although he was apparently VERY sexy and VERY persuasive), the next time she laid eyes on him was at Parents Evening when he came with his WIFE to find out how his darling little daughter was getting on!! Don't know who was more embarrased, him or her!!!!!

Rule no 98164 - Never go out clubbing near where u teach...

I hate teachers with the same passion that CB hates firemen.

All they do is moan,yet only work 39 wks a yr

Should be made to sweep the rds the rest of the yr,they are public servants after all.

The only good thing about Teachers is the tv programe on weds nite on C4,ACE

:rolleyes: Do u know I don't even have the energy to argue with ya! All I will say is..

1. We do NOT start at 9 and finish at 3, I start at 7.30 and normally go home at about 5.30 - 6

2. We do NOT have a 6 week break - the first week is normally crash out time (no work), then sometime during the hols u have to get your room ready for next year and plan what u are going to teach, also fill in reams and reams of forms and paperwork that aren't worth the paper they are written on but MUST be completed for pain of death

3. We do NOT enjoy having to explain this to every

love to stop and annoy you some more but i have to at work at 6am and guess i not be home til 7pm ish and ive approx 4 hrs of paper work to do tonite.never mind,ive got 10 days off in JANUARY,whens your next holiday

Teachers are as bad as Firemen - another public sector (servant) bunch of people who throw their toys out the cot and go on strike at the first opportunity. But unlike Firemen, nobody dies when teachers strike

But I like Riss and Vanda. They are nice. And I doubt they would ever go on strike cus they love kids...

Well vanda at least u didnt do as bad as a head of yr 9 that i know - Sttod on stage at a pub singing kevin bloody wilson's "santa clause you c***" at full volume! 5 or so kids from his class stood at the back of the pub laughing
