Just thought I'd let the other Aussie owner's know that I received my 24 hour roadside assistance card from Peugeot yesterday.
Hope this doesn't mean that the car is about to start to deteriorate
BTW, did anyone else get that 'lovely' book on the history of Peugeot in Australia a while back.
Sime-Darby (Oz distributers of Peugeot) seem to be trying hard on the customer service front. They even sent out a questionnaire on how happy we were with the car/service/sales etc. Mind you I haven't filled it in yet...I'm waiting for a few things to go wrong first
Hi there Kirk, got my roadside assistance card yesterday and the book a few weeks back. Also responded to the questionnaire. Yes, I agree they seem to be making a big effort.
They still owe me an answer on the solution to my small leak (and have sent a follow up to let me know they're still on it). Through Bergen from this site I got some really great help from Peugeot Norway of all places with their detailed instuctions for fixing a couple of types of leaks, one of which looks like mine. I sent it off to PCA last night so will be interested to see their response. Will post an update under the leaks section.
No other problems with mine. Slight rattle occasionally on the drivers side window but I know how to fix that with some spray that Paeugeot has.
How do you fix the window rattle? Mine has started making some noise in the last couple of weeks and apart from the door very occasionally 'unlatching' this is the only apparent issue I have with mine. Other than the fact that someone scrapped the plastic on side mirror while my wife was at the local shops. But you get that!
Oh yeh and we are still waiting for any sort of rain to test out our leak situation. Maybe we'll get some in the next couple of days.
Hi Kirk, sorry to hear about the scrape - it really p!$$@$ me off at the carelessness of some people!
As for the rattle, your Peugeot dealer will have some spray that they use on the seals around the window. I was offered that I could purchase one as a spare part but it's around $100 for a can!!!!! Not sure what's in it, but it works. They used to use it on my 306 Cab and it worked a treat.
I sent the Norweigian info to PCA and got a reply yesterday saying they were grateful of my efforts to assist and the understanding that I'm showing. They're passing it on to their tech people. I sent a copy to Lyndon and he'll post it here on the weekend. Will keep you posted!
