FIRSTLY great to see forum back up and running and secondly did anyone see the above program? what about the quote "..oh i think the 206cc is an ideal first car, after that i'll have a bmw..." We wish our parents could afford to have financed our cc for us and it's our umpteenth car between us!! so the ranks of cc owners may be joined by the "star" of young posh and annoying! what a sobering thought.

Yep, the program was fascinating, how the other half live- eh? - "lets all get into my roller and come round for drinkies - then I try and persuade the girls to leave the pad in the morning by telling them I'm going to go shopping". Nice character? I think not. I'd rather have the satisfaction of knowing that my car was bought solely by myself without a freebie from the parents (no offence intended to anyone). I don't suppose many of those characters would know what an honest days work was if it jumped out of a champaign bottle and tapped them on their Rolex (trying not to be too envious).
Before I digress totally without becoming too envious, I think the Pug stands out itself in its own right as a great car, if not, why would the rich and famous have gone out and bought them when they could have clearly bought the usual BMW's etc?

not jealous are we robbie ?
p.s. i agree that it must be more satisfying having bought the car yourself rather than getting it for free - not that i would refuse
