- u better come to December meet!) as the Polo Ground is better for parking etc.

Any suggestions as to where to meet for food (I was thinking that pub where Len mysteriously discovered us last time

) would be most appreciated!!

Ok, am making an executive decision, 1st November (this coming weekend) it is!!

Agenda:

Stage 1 - meet at The Spotted Cow (where we ate before and Len found us - directions to follow if I can find some!) at about 4pm for food

Stage 2 - on to the car parking for The Polo Ground at about 5.30pm (park and ride is available as there is no parking)

Stage 3 - Polo Ground Display starts at 6pm

Stage 4 - no idea when it finishes, but thought we could collect cars and head for a pub to get warm and drink lots!!

Would be nice to know who will be turning up, as we will need to know who we waiting for before we move on to park the cars!!

oops! Have just realised that the fireworks don't start till 7.15, so maybe 4 is too early to meet up? I don't mind, we can always just drink and chat and eat till then, or make it 5pm instead, let me know what you think! Sorry, not very good at this am I??

This is the first and last time I try to organise a meet! Julia you have my every sympathy

For anyone who is actually coming (tho not many now I don't think), still up for meeting at the Spotted Cow for food (though maybe later than 4, seeing as the fireworks don't start till 7.15???), then on the fireworks and pub.

Hope to see a few of you there?

I'm not sure I'll be there as I've come down with a cold but in case I do where's the pub? The only "spotted cow" I can find is the Old spotted cow at Marsten Maysey. Is that the one? Is there a new spotted cow? Cheers

If u r coming on the M4, come off at J15, follow the signs for Swindon A419 at the motorway junction roundabout. Take the left hand lane and u will come to another roundabout, turn left here (think it's marked Town Centre), u will pass the new Great Western Hospital on yr left, keep going until you pass the pub on your left (its set back slightly from the road but it's pretty big with a childrens play area and stuff), the turning is after u pass the pub on yr left, turn into the little lane and go back on yrself, pub is a little way up on yr left!
