On the way back from London last night I had a Blowout of my driver side front tyre
lucky I was only doing 35 at the time and I slewed into a traffic cone which I caught the top of and ripped my mirror off
I then cut my hand whilst trying in vain to refit my spare wheel. Now got bill for repairs.
Hoping car is fixed for the December meet

I don't believe it, I had a puncture yesterday - got a screw in my rear (ha ha!!!). I laughed until they said my tyre was well and truly screwed and had to pay £93 for a new one
I looked up Eagle F1 and they say they are designed with safetly in mind to kinda seal around a puncture - it did that all right, I never even noticed and drove on it, hence shagging old tyre and having to buy new one. So that's how they make their money.
Glad you're OK Ben.
Watch out everyone else - these things happen in 3s! Who's next?

I was thanking you Rob - that you sold me that alloy
And someone was looking over me - both punctures were on the side that my spare fits
Bl**dy directional tyres - I asked about replacing with non-directional and apparantly there are only Dunlops on the market. Anyone else changed from Eagle F1s and what you got now?
