Would appreciate any advice on installing a Clarion 6 CD changer to the standard RD3 unit that came with the car. The Peugeot Monkeyboys have quoted £300! But I've seen them on e-bay for ten times less!
(Before you say I want to keep the front unit, display and joystick and I'm not going to mess around buying two lots of connects-2 interfaces to get my Sony sytem to work with both the display and joystick, I've decided it's easier just to buy a Clarion changer and put the Sony in my other car)
Questions are:- Which Clarion changer do I need? In mutiplex cars where is the wiring loom, glove box or rear? Final question anyone got one they want to sell?
Cheers chaps.

I've been looking into this & have been told this aftermarket changer will fit the standard cd/radio in my 2003 2.0 ltr 206CC Allure.

I had the same problem when I wanted to get an auto changer in my CC. Luckily I have contacts at Clarion and they helped me out.
I can't remember the proper name of it but you need to buy a little control panel thingy which takes the signal from the auto changer and then plays it through your radio rather than being attached to the stereo directly.
Apparently, Peugeot won't let Clarion sell the auto changer units that fit the stereo's directly - they have it sewn up nicely really.
Hope that helps .. I'll try and remember what the helll that control panel thingy is called and let you know!!!

Found what I was talking about.. FM Modulator.. in mine I have a little control panel which does everything that the stereo should do if you had a factory fitted auto changer.
