Hi
Just bought a Peugeot 206 CC and thought I'd post here to introduce myself.
Been reading all of the posts and got a bit worried when I read of all of the 'problems' Only had my car for a couple of weeks but it has been out in some torrential rain and..................fingers legs and eyes crossed..........there doesn't seem to be any leaks!!!! I have been soaked a couple of times when getting out of the car though, water running off the roof onto my head etc.
Can't wait until the sun shines so I can get the 'lid' down.
Thanks for the welcome.
I'm a bit 'paranoid' at the minute about my 'pocket rocket' I hardly dare take her out in case I get it scratched, bumped etc. etc.
Had a nasty accident in November last year. I was stationary and was hit from behind by a HGV ......going too fast and too close..........he shunted me into the car in front. My car was a write-off.......I wasn't too good myself.
Really looking forward to getting to know the 206 CC......and all of you folk too, of course.
I had probs with my first one, but that's how I found this site, which is great, especially for advice. A site dedicated to a particular car is going to show all the good and bad points...but IMO the CC is worth it.
Well..spent most of today reading posts and am now expecting a heap of trouble with my 206CC...................only joking. However, one thing that really, really bothers me are the posts about engine cutout/dying. I wouldn't know what to do under those circumstances...............except pee my pants (hang on, that's a bit better than the comment from someone who had the cutout happen to them ) I have cried with laughter at some of the wit on this site............and then been deeply worried by some of the faults you guys and gals have had. :redhot:
Any.....serious.....advice if my Pug engine does die on me.....apart from closing my eyes and saying a quick prayer
Hi pugnacious. Also readin all the problems people were having nearly put me off buying me 206cc, but apart from the engine seeming a little bit gritty feeling (or could be just me) Ive had no probs so far (touch wood), and my roof doesnt leak at all
