Ok guys as promised here is a review of the conmatic 40...
This product allows you to open and close the roof of the vehicle with just one push of the roof operation button without the need to hold the button while the roof is in operation, the product also increases the roof activation speed limit to 25MPH.
So I sent an email off to order this device (you couldn't order it through the website itself) and very promptly received an email back saying thankyou for my interest and how would you like to pay Cheque, bank order or paypal I took the paypal option thinking this would be the quickest.
Almost straight away I recieved a thank you and product has been sent... two days later there was a small brown parcel delivered.
Luckily I had noticed on the website that you download the instructions ( in word format) if I hadn't noticed I would be thinking what the heck do I do with this!!!
So printed off my instructions which are good as far as they give you some very detailed pictures.. however the instructions have been translated... and it shows!!! But to be honest you could get by just with the pictures, I am in no way technically minded but managed to connect this is around 10-15 mins.
So does it work >?? Yes.. straight away I gave it a test run, the roof does indeed raise and lower when driving up to 25 mph. As for the automatic side... that took a little bit of working out as you have to click the roof operation button in a sequence to activate it.. but with a bit of trial and error soon had it working with no problems..... and of course you can still operate the roof manually if you wish.
Considering the best feature on this car is the " magic " roof and this bit of gubbings makes it even better... I would definitely recommend getting one and at £95 it isn't going to break the bank.
If you have any questions or have bought one...and then have querries by all means post here and I will do my best to help.
Chris.

Hi
Many thanks
But when you put the device in do you remove an existing device? or is this an added device?
And would the Pug dealer check the roof device when the car goes in for it service?
Many thanks
