I have had the Pug dealers refuse to change my radio saying that there is nothing wrong with the original one and after they reprogram it a few times it will come good, from a lot of posts that I have read on this site it is obvious that people are having their radios replaced under warranty, I would appreciate it if you could give me details in the poll so that I can front them with some statistics.

Cheers.

I have to say I dont find it that much of a problem, it happens occassionally, but I cant be bothered to take it back to Pug!

I find mine most inconvenient, no matter what stations I have tuned in all six presets go to one station that is just in range of me (crackly) i reset the presets to different stations and within a day or so all are back to this same station even though the presets have the station names of the stations I set them to so this makes using the stalk hopeless and all I can do is use the station search buttons to tune stations which is a P.I.T.A. because it finds a lot of crappy stations inbetween.

I had this problem for ages. I first took it into my dealer in July 2003 and it has taken until Jan 04 to be finally fized. I had many many updates and 6 new radios until it was fixed. Apparently Peugeot know the problem and its to do with a new software update on the radio by Siemens who make the radio. There is a new software versioned radio out which is OK and stops the presets going wrong. Just contact Customer Relations and they will help you with your dealer.

If you need anymore info let me know.

thanks Petersud,

6 new radios fitted? your car must spend more time at the dealership than your home.

Thanks for the advice
