The need for four seats is the only reason I’m changing cars, otherwise I would be happy to keep the CC.
I tried both the high and low power; to be honest there wasn’t a great difference between them. However it was difficult to get a proper comparison as there was a couple of months between the two test drives, plus the family was with me in the high power so I wasn’t so heavy on the right foot.
So the heart said high power, head and budget said low power in the end I decided that low power RX-8 was better than no RX-8 at all.

fair enough, also apparently the low power version has got more low down torque than the high power one! so most probably around town you'll be better off with that!

Well hello stranger – how’s life without a CC?
Of course you will be seeing topless people everywhere you go now and you’ll be constantly thinking of your lovely CC.
At least Ill have a couple more months of wind in the hair driving.
As for William all he said was ‘Dad can we get one of those RX-8s’ so I went out a bought one!
Project for this year – clear out the garage and make room so we can start restoring the Midget - can’t live for long without a convertible.

i wouldn't buy a car without a definite trade in price as they can offer you whatever you want come the time.
if i had ordered a 307CC for march back in november like i was thinking of doing they would have given me a price and it would only have changed if the car wasn't in the same condition by the time they got it, i.e. no damage.
when i ordered the 206CC with the 20 week wait, 1 dealer wouldn't give a price, 1 was a guide price but most others did.
good luck with the RX-8
i like them but it's now 3rd on my list with the 307CC and 350Z ahead of it.
