Argghh, the wife has just rung me, after 2 days of having the 206 she opened the door and the wind bent it back, there is no exterior damage but now the door wont shut properly without lifting it, any ideas, could it just be the hinge assembly or am I in big shit !

Please reply I am gutted....................

sorry to hear that m8 :(

it's a trip to the zoo (peugeot dealer) i'm afraid, not sure what it might be :?

hopefully it'll be something simple but it may not be covered under the warranty, you could play er dumb and said it was like this one day one ;)

*** this is only a idea i can't be held responsible if things go wrong *** :D :D :D :D

I had that once, a very strong gust of wind blew open my door while i was coming out, i thought i had broken something, but thankfully it's ok :)

I'd recommend your wife not eat anymore curry - it's vague as to where the wind came from, thus my conclusion

Seriously, I back Lyndon up - a trip to the zoo is in order. Still under warranty? If so, I suggest you take that line of discussion.
Cheers

Ive made an inspection and its the metal rod thats supposed to stop the door opening to far which has straightened out slightly meaning the door isnt sitting right, nothing a star socket set and a nall pin hammer cant fix, going to try the dealers first though to save myself some work.

Took the car in Monday to Kettering Peugeot and they were fantastic, took the car straight round the back and fitted a new bracket for us FOC and also booked the car in to have a new motor put in the heater unit, great service, let us wait with coffees etc, 30 minutes all done.

Good on ya Kettering Peugeot
