which one? 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004?

I am thinking to buy 206cc 1.6 (second hand),

1)do models 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 have ABS?

2) What are the differences between
models 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004?

mines 2004, and has ABS. I thought they all did though.

from 2002 onwards a Multiplex wiring system was introduced (noted by the internal locking button and LED alongside the hazard button) Cherry red and firedance were dropped in 2003. 2003 models onwards got colour coded door trims and 1.6 gained 2.0's sport front bumpers.

i have a 2001 2.0se and it does have ABS
though i think you are right - ABS on 2001 1.6
was an option.

so, in summary:

2002, 2003, 2004: ABS

2002, 2003, 2004: Multiplex wiring system

2003, 2004: Cherry red and firedance

2003, 2004: colour coded door trims and 1.6
gained 2.0's sport front bumpers.

Any other difference?

Hi All,

Yesterday we discovered that the MY04 has black dials on the dash (instead of white) and the glovebox handle looks like brushed aluminium too now.

The back lights are also slightly different than before.

2002 on - 2.0se has automatic lights and wipers (option on 1.6 - part of visibility pack). Also I think the trip computer was added/improved and the stereo was improved?

FYI mulitplex was introduced in Oct (I think) 2001 - mine's a multiplex and is a 2001.

And the same bumpers were put on both cars from very early on (2002 or earlie) NOT 2003

mine is a december 2002 plated model and it is multiplex but it doesn't have the locking button beside the hazzard button.
