If i suddenly disappear then it's because my laptop is away to get fixed. to add to my mounting current problems, the screen is buggered and is getting worse by the day so it looks like i'll need to send it away to get fixed

yeah laptop problems again but i didn't think i would have after spending over Â£1700 on the new one - never buy packard bell. i thought i was unlucky when the 1st one packed in after 2 years but it's actually just because they are crap

My laptop is Packard Bell too, and its also crap.

The battery has a life of 3 1/2 minutes!

battery life on mine was excellent compared to the last one at about 3.5hrs - now ur lucky to get 1hr out of it. i could see the point if i used the battery a lot but i use it on mains most of the time :rolleyes:

i'll never buy packard bell again, would be as well with a barbie laptop

Yeah-my first computer was a Packard Bell, a 25 mhz CPU monster I paid silly money for not realizing they always charge top dollar for out of date components. Now I buy Eversham, expensive, but at least its state of the art and their on site warranty is second to none.

I have Evesham desktop and Compaq laptop. Had them both for over 3 years and never had a problem with either. As Robbie said Evesham's warranty's are excellent.

can't be any worse altho.................

not optimistic about car

new monitor at work yesterday - replaced right away as can't do without - not so sure about my laptop, it's holding out but only just

planning permission for the garage is dependant on me getting my finger out and getting some time to deal with it

monbth ready to end and got worse again ..... where i live most neighbours are pretty strange and don't talk

in the last 6 months one lot that talk have sold and moved, another lot that talk have sold and ready to move, and yesterday i drove home to see another for sale sign at the 2nd last remaining decent neighbours

can't wait for may
