sounds like the alarm button.

it changes the mode of the alarm from regular to ultrasonic.

search the forum for more info on how to do so.

You are not missing much by not having a manual. It's the worst one I have ever seen.

Pants

i believe ultrasonic mode means the roof has to be down and doors and windows shut because it is dependant on air pressure or something like that. if you want to put the roof down and lock the car it has to be on normal mode.

do a search for ultrasonic and you should come up with the answer

If you get out and lock the car the internal sensors of the alarm are armed (roof up only). If you leave a pet in the car this will set the alarm off. If you press that button you found, get out and lock the car it does not arm the internal sensors part of the alarm, so Fido does not set the alarm off. If the roof is down the internal part of the alarm is disarmed anyway.

As Andy-W says it's so Fido dosn't set the alarm off when the roof is up and when he falls off the seat with heat exhaustion being kept in a locked car!

Sorry! :sawery:

Not quite. It switches the ultrasonics *off*.
