I think he knows about the rattles, squeaks, electrics, roof leaks, etc....the Puma had none of those.
Doesn't excuse him for putting it in the worst top 50 though. There are loads of cars that are much worse than the cc.
Ford Puma - any good?

Pumas - COOL
Racing PUMAs - OUT OF THIS WORLD
One of the guys over at www.pumapeople.com is selling his due to circumstance and is only after £9500. These things really shift, very rare as currently only about 460 in existance.
The handling around corners is unreal, it will out corner most things and the brakes - wow
also have a look at www.fordracingpuma.com for a few piccies etc. Its a real cool bunch of people who own them. The guy who designed them chats on our forums and helps with ANY questions we have - not like Peugeot.
and a little snippet - do you remember the origianl STIG off Top Gear - well he did the testing work for the car when it was being developed.

err well no actually
standard pumas built from late 2000 onwards had improved brakes as the early ones were acknowledged as crap.
but for just over a grand more you could have such and exclusive car. Its great watching peoples faces when they want a race from the lights - I normally let them set off first and then wait for them to catch me at the next set

And I've kept the Puma book that you got when you bought one new....that's how much I loved mine.
Rob, I'm assuming the Black Thunder was a different model to the Racing Puma? That was a limited build too wasn't it? I worked with a guy in Swindon who had a Puma and then changed it for one of the first Racing Puma's too...shame I can't remember his name though!

[quote=""nykS5""]The main fault he picked out was the roof and the fact that when you open the door and its raining the seats get drenched. Which they do...

Ooh - I don't get that with mine (thankfully)...assume I must have the gulley that's been referred to on other threads that's in the later models (I've got a 2003)?
