206 CC new colours.

For those that are interested, the recently pictured 206 CC in 'gold' will enter production as Sahara Yellow in June 2002. The replacement for Cherry Red, the darker Flamenco Red (still a solid colour) and 2 additional colours, Onyx Black (pearlescent paint) and either Egyptian Red or Diablo Red (still to be decided on which one) will all enter production late July/early August. Alloy wheels on 1.6 S models are due to become a standard feature in the UK (as they already are across most of Europe) from September production.

You must be joking : onyx black pearlescent???? I've ordered an ordinary onyx black a month ago. It annoyed me that it wasn't really a pearlescent colour, and now peugeot has decided to change the black????? God d****, that makes me even more annoyed .....

Sorry, i'll clear that bit up, Onyx black (pearlescent) will run alongside solid black.

Ok, so we'll have the old (cheap looking) black???? I wanted the pearlescent so badly, but it just didn't exist.

Has you ordered only a month ago why don't yoy see if you can have your choice of colour changed ?. Can't imagine they have built your car yet !

Unfortunately, once an order is placed on the system, it's not possible to modify the order in any way (other than to add additional options rather than delete them). Onyx black will not go into production until October though - not in July/August as will Diablo/Egyptian Red.

My local dealer told me that you can make changes to the vehicle, provided a build date hasn't been allocated - it will cost Â£300 though!

I got told that a WHITE CC had been spotted in the Herts area a few months ago, 1.6 i believe....Can't remember hearing about it on the forum. Does anyone here own it/seen it?

In another thread I was considering getting a Cherry Red CC, and now this thread says it is being replaced. How long do you think I still have to order one???

You don't, the colour has already been put into production and all unbuilt orders will also be converted to flamenco red in place of cherry.
