Hi
I have just got myself an alloy Aerial. Does anyone know how to take the existing plactic aerial off.

it just unscrews, you may need to use mole-grips or similar as it may be rusted on, you'll see the join, grip just above it then i held the base and just twisted gently but firmly

I just got a Richbrook Anti Theft Aerial, and it does seem to be Anti Theft because it just screws off

If it's an anti-theft one it should have a little grub screw located near the base.

Yeah It's got two small grub nuts at the base and alan keys supplied. I've tightened them up but the aerial still to screws off

Take it back to the shop. The grub screws should make it virtually impossible to screw off by hand

Tried this...still couldn't get it off. Got a man to do it - he couldn't get it off either!
New aerial still sitting in its box

I'm beginning to think that's what's been done to my current one...it just won't shift!
